My friend Jill just tried my
challah recipe and added a wonderful twist! She decorated the rolls with a combination of black and white sesame seeds! I'm posting her picture here for all of you to see. The black sesame seeds are a bit harder to find, but they are a wonderful touch. (You can also try poppy, if you like the taste.)

ReplyDeleteMy daughter has experimented with challah for years and even made chocolate chip challah (I think only once.) Not for me but the kids love it.
I am not a fan of seeds so I prefer the egg wash.
I have photos now and I choose the one with both. I think, I would like it with just poppy seeds for appearance.

ReplyDeleteI am also Comfy Cook, Rivki. I have two blogs. Both are kosher, of course, and Comfy is gluten free. My Sweet and Savory is free of gluten and gets most of the dessert recipes.
